‘Must be the Honey’ Campaign Hits Streets, Airwaves
Thursday, September 19th, 2013

Buzz has been a busy little bee lately.

Since 1979 he has served as the General Mills Honey Nut Cheerios cereal mascot. In 2000, the same year that Nelly’s “Ride Wit’ Me” song became a hit, Buzz Bee finally was given his official name. And, in 2013, the two came together for a new “Must be the Honey” television commercial.

Click here to sing along to “Must Be the Honey” with Buzz and Nelly.

Along with recent television commercials boasting honey’s yummy goodness, Buzz has traveled from city to city, coast to coast to spread the word about the sweet taste of Honey Nut Cheerios. Since leaving the hive, he has been seen on billboards, in social media campaigns, and he has turned into the latest pop culture phenomenon.

Help Buzz in his journey by sharing your #MustBeTheHoney moments on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Follow Buzz on Twitter @BuzzTheBee or visit http://mustbethehoney.com/.
