Cracking a New Trend Thursday, June 25th, 2015

Market research from Packaged Facts’ “Crackers: U.S. Market Trends” report reveals that the cracker movement is gaining steam. Brands are trying to overhaul old cracker products with new flavors and healthier ingredients to encourage consumers to snack on them.

Although the cracker market is being transformed, the traditional cracker brands still have a significant foothold. About 40% of households still use saltines, and 23% continue to use graham crackers, according to Packaged Facts.

As marketers are transforming crackers into snacks, the boundaries between crackers, crisps and chips are blurring, according to the Packaged Facts report. Breakfast biscuits are one of the newest innovations taking off in the cracker industry.

Check out these delicious cracker products that use honey.
